Read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and work orders
Write basic correspondence and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
Perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Work with measurements involving money, weight, volume, and distance
Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
Apply common sense understanding to carry out job responsibilities
Maintain quality and production standards throughout the shift

Machine Production Operator ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine Production Operator, you will support the manufacturing process while meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals. Duties may include:

Operating production machinery and manufacturing equipment
Moving raw materials and finished products throughout the production process
Assembling parts and components
Trimming and cleaning products to meet quality standards
Counting, labeling, packaging, and wrapping products
Inspecting products for quality and accuracy
Maintaining production targets and quality expectations
Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
Following all company safety procedures and policies

Machine Production Operator Work EnvironmentThis position is performed in a manufacturing environment and may include:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment
Frequent exposure to wet or humid conditions
Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration
Warm temperatures during summer months that may exceed outdoor temperatures
Moderate noise levels; hearing protection is available for employee use
