Job Description

CNC ProgrammerPenmac Staffing is recruiting for a CNC Programmer on behalf of a manufacturing client in Heber Springs, AR. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering a salary range of $60,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience.We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience developing and optimizing CNC programs for precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, tooling selection, and process improvement.Requirements for the CNC Programmer

Experience programming CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Knowledge of G-code, CAM software, tooling, and machining processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening requirements

CNC Programmer Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to support production needs
Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure program accuracy
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials and applications
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
Conduct program testing and validation during setup and production runs
Maintain accurate program documentation and revision records
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
