Cannelure Machine Operator - Weekend Day Shift - $14.50/HourThe Russellville Penmac Branch is hiring a Cannelure Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates with machine operation experience who enjoy working with precision equipment in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to producing quality parts that meet customer specifications.Requirements for the Cannelure Machine Operator

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Cannelure Machine Operator Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate cannelure and rolling machines according to production schedules
Select, install, and align proper dies, rollers, and tooling configurations
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
Inspect finished products for correct groove depth, width, alignment, and overall quality
Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify specifications
Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance
Clear minor jams and report equipment concerns to supervisors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all company policies, production requirements, and safety guidelines

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout a 12-hour shift
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of materials up to 50 pounds
Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and production equipment

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $14.50 per hour
Weekend Day Shift
12-hour shifts
