Job Description

Pay: $15.38/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Assignment Length: 3-6 Months
Location: Springfield, MO
Are you looking for a full-time Custodian position with a consistent weekday schedule? Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable individuals to assist one of our Springfield-area clients with custodial and facility maintenance duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping buildings and grounds clean, organized, and well-maintained.Requirements

Ability to perform general custodial and janitorial duties
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
Ability to work at heights when necessary using ladders, aerial lifts, and other approved equipment
Ability to respond to visual and audible safety alarms
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work independently and follow directions

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning, maintenance, and janitorial upkeep of assigned areas
Clean and maintain floors, windows, restrooms, office spaces, and plant equipment
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout assigned work areas
Complete outdoor grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weed eating, fertilizing, spraying, and snow removal as needed
Maintain inventory of janitorial and cleaning supplies
Follow all company safety procedures and encourage safe work practices
Perform additional related duties as assigned by management
