Metal Fabricator - Owensville, MO
Full-Time | 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a career in manufacturing? Penmac Staffing is seeking a Metal Fabricator for a full-time opportunity in the Owensville area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, reading blueprints, and learning fabrication and machine operation skills in a team-focused environment.Requirements for the Metal Fabricator

Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals
Ability to read and interpret simple drawings and specifications
Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
Willingness to learn machine operations and equipment setup
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings

Metal Fabricator Responsibilities

Learn and perform fabrication tasks by following detailed drawings and work instructions
Assist with machine setups under the guidance of experienced team members
Operate fabrication equipment after completing training
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications
Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
Use hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
Follow all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities
Support production goals and assist team members as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
