Job Description

Forklift Operator
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed
Penmac Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a long-term opportunity with a local manufacturing client in the Lebanon area. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in safe and accurate material handling, this could be a great fit for you.
Requirements

Prior forklift heavy load operating experience required
Valid driver's license and Class E required
Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, pick tickets, and safety guidelines
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Basic math skills for counting and verifying materials
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Ability to communicate equipment issues, product damage, and inventory discrepancies
Previous warehouse experience preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse materials and products
Transport materials throughout the facility using a forklift and related equipment
Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment
Build pallets and complete pallet picks to support warehouse operations
Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report concerns promptly
Complete shipping, inventory, and material handling documentation accurately
Conduct routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
Maintain a clean work environment and identify potential safety hazards
Assist other departments with material movement and forklift-related tasks as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, rain, mud, snow, and uneven terrain
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work around moving machinery

Compensation & Schedule

$19.61 to $23.10 per hour
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime on Fridays
