Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Farm Worker to join our team and contribute to the success of our poultry operations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for a variety of agricultural tasks and duties to support the overall health and productivity of the flock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general farm work, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of poultry
- Assist with the collection and processing of eggs and other poultry products
- Operate and maintain agricultural equipment and machinery
- Participate in the implementation of biosecurity protocols and other safety measures
- Collaborate with the farm management team to identify and address any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in agricultural or farm work, with a strong understanding of poultry care and handling
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of agricultural equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
This position involves physical labor in an agricultural setting, including exposure to various weather conditions, farm animals, and the potential for exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
