Job Description

Horizontal Saw OperatorLocation: Webb City, MO
Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Breaks: One 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute paid breaksPosition SummaryPenmac Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Horizontal Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility in Webb City, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating a horizontal saw to cut materials according to specifications while maintaining quality standards and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate horizontal saw equipment safely and efficiently.
Measure and cut materials according to production specifications.
Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
Inspect materials and finished cuts for quality and accuracy.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Strong attention to detail.
Safety-minded with a commitment to following established safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be willing to submit to a background screening.
Must be willing to complete a drug screening process.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to follow all workplace safety guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to safely handle materials and operate equipment.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
