Job Description

Industrial Painter / Paint SprayerPay: $19.79/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Hourly Position
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch at noon
Current Schedule: Overtime hours currently available, working 6:00 AM - 4:20 PM Monday-Friday

Location: Owensville Area Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter / Paint Sprayer for a full-time opportunity with a manufacturing client in the Owensville area. This position is ideal for candidates with experience using air and airless spray equipment who take pride in producing high-quality finishes and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.Industrial Painter Responsibilities

Paint tools, equipment, and manufactured products used in industrial abrasive blasting operations
Operate air spray equipment, airless spray systems, overhead hanging systems, and downdraft paint booths
Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, caulking, and performing necessary prep work
Mix paints and thinners to achieve proper viscosity and finish quality
Monitor temperature and humidity conditions and adjust painting processes as needed
Read gauges, measurements, work orders, drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
Inspect finished products for quality, workmanship, leaks, and defects
Perform equipment cleaning and routine maintenance
Organize tools and work areas at the end of each shift
Safely use powered and non-powered hand tools and assistive equipment, including forklifts when authorized
Support continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN activities, and quality programs
Assist in other production areas as needed based on business demands

Requirements for the Industrial Painter

Prior experience with industrial painting and spray equipment preferred
Knowledge of paint viscosity, thinning agents, and proper application techniques
Ability to read measurements, perform basic math calculations, and follow detailed instructions
Ability to learn and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of material
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds with assistance or equipment when needed
Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures

Pay and Benefits

$19.79 per hour
