J&L Operator
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM
Location: Conway, AR Area
Penmac Staffing is hiring a J&L Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Conway area. This position is responsible for setting up and operating a J&L machine, monitoring product quality, maintaining production records, and supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Requirements for the J&L Operator

High school diploma or GED preferred
At least 2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to read work orders, production paperwork, and safety instructions
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to use hand tools and perform minor machine maintenance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

J&L Operator Responsibilities

Set up and operate the J&L machine according to production specifications
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
Complete production records, downtime logs, and other required documentation
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Assist with training and supporting crew members when needed
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements
Work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a loud production setting
