Machining Operator - Ozark, ARThe Russellville Penmac Branch is hiring Machining Operators for a respected manufacturing facility in Ozark, AR. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measurements, and quality-focused production. High school diploma or GED required
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are helpful but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Machining Operator Responsibilities

Operate machining equipment and production machinery to manufacture parts according to specifications
Read blueprints and perform measurements using gauges, calipers, and testing equipment
Verify dimensions and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Identify defects and assist with troubleshooting production issues
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and finishing operations as needed
Safely operate material-handling equipment and move materials throughout the facility
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company policies, production requirements, and safety procedures

Physical Requirements for the Machining Operator

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting
Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work safely around machinery and moving equipment

Pay and Advancement Opportunities

Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
Eligible for a performance review after approximately 90 days with the opportunity for a $1.50 per hour pay increase
Additional pay review available approximately three months later
Pay increases to $19.93 per hour when hired on by the client
