Job Description

Penmac Staffing is hiring
for a well-established microbiology manufacturing facility in Lenexa, KS. This role offers multiple shift options, competitive pay based on shift, overtime opportunities, and hands-on work supporting the production of scientific and medical products.
Pay & SchedulePay ranges from $18.00 to $19.55 per hour, depending on the assigned shift.

Available schedules include:

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM
Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

Overtime may be available based on production needs.
Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities

Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor product quality and perform visual inspections
Complete production documentation and quality checks
Make basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and manufacturing procedures

Work EnvironmentThis facility produces microbiological products used in laboratory and testing environments. Candidates should be comfortable with:

Occasional odors related to biological production processes
Handling or working near animal-derived materials, including sheep’s blood
Working in a highly regulated, sanitation-focused manufacturing environment

Facility tours are available before starting so candidates can become familiar with the work environment.
Manufacturing Operator Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Basic math skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to distinguish colors for quality-control purposes
Steel-toed or composite-toed footwear
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
