Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Are you looking for a hands-on Production Associate position with opportunities for long-term employment? Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking Metal Treatment Production Associates for a metal processing facility in the Kansas City area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing quality work while following safety standards.
Requirements for the Production Associate

Prior manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Comfortable working in a high-heat and physically demanding environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Production Associate Responsibilities

Load and unload metal parts onto racks, baskets, and conveyors for processing
Inspect parts before and after processing to identify damage, defects, or cleanliness issues
Operate basic production equipment and machinery under supervision
Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Label, package, and stage finished products for shipment
Monitor processing times and communicate delays or production concerns to supervisors
Assist with general labor tasks and support production operations as needed
