Job Description

Experienced Plasma Operator - $19.00/HourThe Russellville Penmac Branch is hiring an Experienced Plasma Operator for a local steel manufacturing company. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for candidates with previous plasma cutting experience who are looking to join a growing team. This position will begin on the day shift for training before transitioning to a night shift schedule. Candidates must be comfortable working nights after the training period is complete.Requirements for the Experienced Plasma Operator

Previous plasma cutting machine experience required
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
Basic measuring, math, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings

Experienced Plasma Operator Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting equipment
Load and unload steel materials safely and efficiently
Monitor machine operation to ensure quality production standards are met
Inspect finished parts and verify measurements for accuracy
Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Full-time position
Day shift training for several weeks
Transition to night shift after training
Overtime may be available based on production needs
