Job Description

Shift Operator – Day & Night Shifts –
Marshfield, MO Penmac Staffing is hiring Shift Operators (Extrusion Operators) for both day and night shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Shift Operator role is responsible for safely operating extrusion equipment while ensuring all products meet quality and customer specifications. Requirements for the Shift Operator:

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
Extrusion experience is a plus
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required
Ability to operate hand and pneumatic tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or on a team
Must be willing to follow established processes and procedures

Shift Operator Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor extrusion production equipment safely and efficiently
Adjust machine settings to maintain proper product specifications
Perform quality checks including wall thickness, diameter, length, and appearance
Ensure products are labeled correctly and meet customer requirements
Accurately record production and quality data
Report defects, equipment issues, or changes in specifications to leadership
Assist with line setup, tooling changes, startup, and shutdown processes
Package and stage finished products according to company standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Schedule and Pay for the Shift Operator:

Full-time, rotating schedule
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
2-week rotation: Week 1 (4 days on / 3 days off), Week 2 (3 days on / 4 days off)
Competitive pay $18.50-20.00/hour
