Job Description

Pay: $17.75 per hourSchedule: 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. with mandatory overtime on Saturdays as needed
Looking for a full-time manufacturing position with a four-day workweek? Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable individuals for a Parts Cleaner / Disassembly Operator role. This position involves cleaning, grinding, sanding, polishing, and preparing metal parts for production using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment. If you enjoy hands-on work and working in a manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity for you. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, reach, and use hands and fingers regularly
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures
Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

Operate equipment such as blasters, grinders, ovens, presses, shears, wash tanks, polishers, and other pneumatic or electric devices
Grind, sand, clean, and polish parts to remove defects and prepare surfaces for finishing processes
Follow work instructions to produce quality parts within established production standards
Perform machine setups and basic material handling tasks
Identify worn or damaged tooling and report concerns to the Production Supervisor
Report defective materials or products promptly
Complete production and quality documentation as required
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Follow all company safety policies and HazCom requirements
