Job Description

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.RequirementsPenmac Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily accounting operations in a professional office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with light accounting experience who enjoys working with numbers, learning new systems, and contributing to a growing team.
Qualified candidates should:

Have previous experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable functions
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Have the ability to learn new software and processes quickly
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Be flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment
Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks
Have strong communication and teamwork skills

ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will assist with a variety of accounting and administrative functions while supporting a company-wide software transition. This role offers the opportunity to learn a new accounting system and play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Entering and maintaining financial data accurately
Processing invoices and payments
Tracking customer payments and account balances
Utilizing Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and data management
Learning and assisting with the transition from Sage to Acumatica software
Verifying information for accuracy and completeness
Supporting accounting and administrative projects as needed
Maintaining organized and confidential financial records
