Quality Control InspectorLocation: Washington, MO
Branch: Owensville
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay: Based on Experience Are you an experienced Quality Control Inspector looking for a great opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company in the Washington, MO area? Penmac Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work, analyzing data, and helping maintain product excellence throughout the manufacturing process.Requirements for the Quality Control Inspector

Experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment required for external candidates
Internal manufacturing experience in welding, cabinet assembly, or component assembly may be considered
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and other precision instruments
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Basic math skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong communication and recordkeeping abilities
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and flexible
Ability to work up to two hours of overtime when needed

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with specifications
Perform visual and dimensional inspections during production and on finished products
Communicate quality concerns and required adjustments to production personnel
Approve finished products or coordinate rework when necessary
Complete inspection records, data reports, metrics, and other quality documentation
Assist with Material Review Reports (MRRs) and vendor quality concerns
Review customer returns and ensure proper product disposition
Analyze quality data and identify trends that may indicate recurring issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN activities, root cause analysis, and problem-solving efforts
Support quality standards throughout the production process
Attend training opportunities and assist in other areas as needed
