Reel Breakdown AssociateShift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00 per hourPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Reel Breakdown Associate to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining reel inventory, refurbishing returned reels, assembling new reels as needed, and ensuring production lines have the materials required to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.Work Environment

Essential Job Duties

Review daily production schedules and determine reel requirements needed to support production.
Paint and stencil returned wood reels that do not meet appearance standards prior to reuse on extrusion lines.
Build and assemble reels when inventory levels are insufficient to support production demands.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and position-specific safety requirements.
Complete required paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
Support production needs and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Key Skills

Strong commitment to workplace safety
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Forklift and other powered industrial truck experience preferred
Basic math and measurement skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Reliable attendance and dependability
Excellent attention to detail
Effective verbal communication skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Strong organizational abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Customer-focused mindset

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights
Ability to lift materials and objects overhead
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the facility
Ability to step over or bend under equipment and obstacles as needed
