Job Description

Pay: $18.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Penmac Staffing is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician for a full-time opportunity with a local manufacturing company. This hands-on position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools, assembling components, and maintaining high-quality standards. Previous automotive, mechanical, or transmission experience is helpful, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to follow established specifications and standard operating procedures
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift, carry, and handle transmission components and parts as required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to provide personal tools after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

Tear down transmissions for inspection and evaluation
Inspect transmission components for wear, damage, and replacement needs
Order required replacement parts through the internal parts department
Assemble and rebuild transmissions according to company specifications and standard operating procedures
Verify quality and accuracy throughout the remanufacturing process
Maintain accurate work practices and production standards
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Assist with additional production and shop duties as assigned
