Job Description

Pay: $25.00 per hourSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Penmac Staffing is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for a local metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Springfield, Missouri. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, assisting customers, identifying sales opportunities, and working in both a manufacturing and retail-focused environment. This position does not involve cold calling and includes assisting walk-in customers, checking inventory, preparing quotes, and supporting business growth.Requirements

Previous sales experience with a proven ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally for customer visits
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Professional, customer-focused attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability
Typing skills of 30+ words per minute
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must maintain confidentiality and professional business relationships
CAD software knowledge and blueprint reading experience preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
Assist walk-in customers with product selection, orders, and inventory inquiries
Generate new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts
Conduct customer meetings, phone calls, site visits, and presentations
Research potential customers and identify market opportunities
Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and sales documentation
Resolve customer concerns while providing excellent customer service
Promote company products and services in a professional manner
Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry activities as needed
Meet sales goals while supporting overall company growth
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
