Job Description

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks while a current employee is on leave. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience who are looking to gain additional experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. This Warehouse Associate position will include training on a stand-up reach forklift and offers hands-on experience supporting warehouse operations during an overnight shift.RequirementsTo be considered for this Warehouse Associate position, candidates should:

Have previous warehouse experience
Have previous manufacturing or forklift experience preferred
Be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Be flexible to work overtime and weekends when needed
Be willing to wear a respirator while working in certain areas
Have reliable attendance and strong work habits
Be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check

ResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations and material movement activities. Responsibilities may include:

Training to operate a stand-up reach forklift safely and efficiently
Moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
Loading and unloading products and materials
Assisting with inventory movement and storage
Maintaining organized work areas and staging locations
Following all company safety policies and procedures
Wearing required personal protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary
Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned

Schedule and Pay

Temporary Assignment (approximately 3-4 weeks)
3rd Shift
Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
Pay: $19.80 per hour
