Job Description

Truss Builder – $19/hr + Overtime – Full-Time 1st Shift – Wadena, MN

$19/hour, about 50 hours a week, and steady overtime.

Penmac Staffing is hiring Truss Builders in Wadena. You’ll be on a crew building the roof, wall and floor trusses that go into homes and commercial buildings. If you like physical work, using power tools and seeing what you built at the end of the day, this job is for you.

At a glance

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some Saturdays
Type: Full-time, 1st shift

What you’ll do

Build wood trusses from production plans and specs
Measure, cut and position lumber accurately
Use hammers, nail guns, saws and other equipment safely
Work with your crew to hit daily production goals
Keep your work area clean, organized and safe

What you need

Comfortable with hand tools and power tools
Able to lift, carry and move materials, and stand for most of the shift
Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety
Willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
