Job Description

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for a local distribution warehouse. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a client seeking a dependable, full-time employee. If you have warehouse experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are looking for a long-term opportunity with room for advancement, this could be a great fit.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:

2nd Shift
Monday through Friday
4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Additional hours may be required based on workload

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred
Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and ability to work with warehouse inventory systems
Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check

Responsibilities

Accurately build and pull customer shipment orders
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records
Load, unload, move, and organize products throughout the warehouse
Verify order accuracy before shipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as needed
Support daily warehouse operations to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
