Job Description

Penmac Staffing is now hiring a Warehouse Operator team member for a feed manufacturing and distribution facility. These are full-time, 1st shift opportunities for dependable individuals who enjoy an active work environment and take pride in accuracy, safety, and customer service.
Pay: $20.50/hour
Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. OR Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge of warehouse operations, product codes, storage practices, forklifts, and pallet jacks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the shift
Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, noisy, and wet environments
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Ability to work around manufacturing-related allergens
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance
Willingness to submit to pre-employment screening requirements

Responsibilities

Load bagged feed and other products from warehouse storage into customer vehicles, trailers, and company trailers
Verify accurate product counts during all loading activities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all safety, health, environmental, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards
Maintain a clean work area and complete housekeeping assignments according to sanitation schedules
Perform monthly inventory counts, recounts, and related warehouse organization activities
Complete work orders and assigned tasks accurately and on time
Communicate production and operational issues with team members and supervisors
Assist with training and mentoring new employees after becoming qualified
Attend company-required training programs
Perform other duties as assigned by plant leadership
