Job Description

1st Shift Pay: $20.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Friday 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
2nd Shift Pay: $22.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday 3:25 p.m. - 11:55 p.m., Friday 1:15 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.
Penmac Staffing is hiring for Fabricator, Welder, Electrical Assembler opportunities with a growing manufacturing company. High School Diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) years of fabrication experience preferred
Must be able to perform basic math calculations
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using hand tools and basic fabrication tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Prior Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and blueprints
Perform grinding, welding, and assembly functions as assigned
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Maintain organized work areas and support overall housekeeping efforts
Work effectively in a manufacturing environment and, when required, at customer locations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Capability to perform repetitive manual tasks in a manufacturing environment
